Hello people, this is my review of this case after 3 years of daily professional usage! I'm a french cop and I used this bag for undercover missions when I was not wearing uniform, but also for everyday carry when I was not on duty. 3 years of daily service for this bag, where I was able to put aaallll my duty stuff : my pistol (Sig Sauer P2022), extra magazine, handcuffs, mini flashlight, telescopic baton, leatherman knife...All of this can be stored in different compartments for quick sorting and reaching. But also "police" armband, personal wallet and papers, extra eye lens in case of lacrymal spray, extra handcuffs key, pens, paper notebook, and other stuff.
After 3 years of that treatment and this weight of carry, the gun compartment zip just cracked. But it is normal because I was very overloaded this pouch, so I'm surprised it did not broke up before. In usage this pouch was very practical! When entering a supermarket or other security filtered zone, no need to announce myself as a police officer in most cases. Security ask for looking inside the pouch, I open the main compartment and they do not see the gun as it is stored in the back zone. Very practical, I like to observe what is going on, and then identify myself when I choose the good moment.
Not to be designated as a police by a security people aware of it, ruining this observation and approach phase. And good thing is : in summer I could wear short and t-shirt without any duty stuff bulges on my belt zone. I can tell you that encounters did not saw it coming in most of cases! I also removed the scratch pads and D ring on the front of the pouch, so it look more like average Joe bag. If I could ask something to Procase team, it would be to make this model height and width a bit more larger by half an inch each. Here a photo of what stuff I am able to put into by compartments and one of the cracked zip. I'm going to buy an another pouch right now. Cheers!
