"My mom has arthritis in her hands and this was probably the most important feature. At 5 oz, this was the most lightweight case I found on Amazon..."
I got this case for the iPad I got my mom for Mother's Day. Took a really long time for me to settle on case to try as the ones available on Amazon had a mixed of reviews.Things we were looking for in a case:- light weight. My mom has arthritis in her hands and this was probably the most important feature. At 5 oz, this was the most lightweight case I found on Amazon- rose gold color and/or see through so that the iPad's rose gold color would not be hidden. This one has a rose gold color in the front and a see through plastic back- All the openings matches the respective components on the iPad. This should be the bare minimum but it's surprising how many reviews of iPad cases showed that they got ones that obscured a camera or a button. I had read a few reviews of this one that said the cut-out for the volume buttons were too small and people had a hard time pressing the buttons to change to volume. Fortunately, was not the case for ours. Everything lined up correctly and all buttons were still usable- A way to be propped up. Not as essential as she uses the iPad mostly in bed but it's a nice bonus. There is only one angle at which you can stand up the iPad and only in landscape but it stands up well without falling. I tried playing some games while standing it up and though there was a lot of tapping on the screen, it was never knocked down.We didn't care about the auto sleep/wake function but wanted to point out that it works fine. As does the magnetic closure.Things I wish.
